First of all, an introduction....
I'm guessing that most of you who read this will be people who already know me. For those who don't, however, here's a few details about myself in no particular order:
-I love my husband. We met by chance in 2005. Started dating early in 2006. Became engaged later in 2006. Married June 9, 2007.
-I love my daughter. She was born July 7, 2009. We're still adjusting to that, of course! She is a beautiful, sweet little girl and her daddy and I couldn't be happier. We just can't wait to see what she'll grow up to be like!
-I love my family. My mom and dad are still married to each other, which is a rare blessing. My only sister is married with adorable twin girls.
-I love God. He has blessed me immeasurably beyond anything that I could ever imagine and I owe everything to Him.
-I love music. I love playing the piano and singing. I love leading worship. I love loving God through music.
-I love food and I used to love to cook. Lately, I just don't have the time. Could be the newborn.
-I have developed a love for the Cleveland Browns. Say what you will. I don't care.
-I'm slightly sarcastic and regret that sarcasm doesn't translate well in print.
-I love my husband. I know I already said it, but he is wonderful!
I'm sure I'm leaving something out, but these are some basic details. More will come out in later posts, I'm sure. This is enough for now.
I intend to blog here so people who want to know can follow what's going on in my life. I live far away from most of the people I love, and this is a good outlet for communication. I'm also writing this as a reminder for myself of my life at this time and how I felt about it. The third reason is to hopefully encourage other young mothers that motherhood and perfection should never be used in the same sentence. It is a daily battle of ups and downs.
